The official collaboration trailer showcases the crossover, which introduces specially created Official Pawns modeled after Laios, the heavily armored adventurer, and Marcille, the elven mage. Both characters can be recruited through Riftstones found in locations such as towns, allowing players to bring the pair along as AI-controlled companions during their adventures.

The crossover also includes two special outfits inspired by the characters. These are automatically added to in-game storage when players launch Dragon’s Dogma 2 or Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and load their save data during the collaboration period. The outfits can be equipped by both the Arisen and their Pawns, and unlike the recruitable characters, they’ll remain available permanently once claimed.

The Official Pawns are available until the January 28, 2027 title update, giving players a limited window to recruit them. The outfits follow the same initial distribution period, although anyone who claims them before the deadline can continue using them after the collaboration ends.

The crossover is also accompanied by a title update containing additional bug fixes across various platforms. Nintendo Switch 2 players can join the collaboration from November 11, while PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC players can access it starting November 4.

What Is Delicious in Dungeon?

Created by Ryoko Kui, Delicious in Dungeon is a popular fantasy manga that combines traditional dungeon crawling with an unusual culinary twist. Its story follows Laios and his companions as they venture back into a dangerous dungeon after his sister is devoured by a Red Dragon. With limited supplies and a long journey ahead, the party starts preparing meals from the monsters they encounter along the way.

The series received an anime adaptation in 2024, helping introduce its mix of fantasy adventure, comedy and monster cooking to a much wider international audience. Its combination of familiar fantasy creatures and inventive food has made it a distinctive entry in the genre.

The crossover is a natural fit for Dragon’s Dogma’s fantasy setting, particularly given the game’s emphasis on exploration, monsters and party-based adventuring. Players can find further recruitment details and availability information through the official Dragon’s Dogma website.
