It’s been a while since Sony last released all-new PlayStation accessories, but this year, we’re getting three: a wireless fight stick, a 27-inch gaming monitor, and a pair of wireless speakers.
The FlexStrike wireless fight stick (dubbed Project Defiant in earlier previews) is an arcade‑style controller designed for modern fighting games. It will support both PlayStation 5 and PC and feature an eight‑button layout, mechanical switches, and wireless connectivity through PlayStation Link. FlexStrike preorders will begin on June 12 in the US at $199.99, with availability also planned for Europe and Japan.
The upcoming 27-inch PlayStation gaming monitor features QHD resolution, VRR support, and PS5 optimization, with dedicated picture modes for an enhanced gaming experience. Sony describes it as a high-refresh gaming screen suitable for both PS5 and PC. It will offer up to 120Hz on PS5 and up to 240Hz on PC and Mac. It will also include a DualSense charging hook on the chassis, letting players hang and charge their controller directly on the display.
Preorders for the PlayStation gaming monitor will open on June 5 at $349.99, with shipments beginning August 27.
Both products sit within a broader 2026 PlayStation hardware push that includes a pair of Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, which will come out later this year.
